• You must be at least 15 years of age to enroll in driver education
• You must be enrolled in a 30-hour online or traditional classroom class AND the 6 behind-the-wheel lessons to get your permit at 15 years old. Otherwise you can’t get your permit until you are 16 years of age.
• You must complete a state approved 30-hour online or traditional classroom AND 6 behind-the-wheel lessons to get your license at 16 years and 90 days old. Otherwise, you have to wait until you are at least 16 years and 270 days old.
• You must hold your permit for 180 days before you can be eligible to get your license, regardless of your age.
